Julie Bayer Koellner is the Owner and President of So To Speak. Starting her career at KABC-TV in Los Angeles, she realized her love of working with creative people in a fast paced environment. After moving to Dallas, Texas, she continued along this career path, working at Dallas Post Production Center, Pyramid Teleproductions, and ultimately at Fast Cuts Edits and Mix.
So To Speak was founded in 2006. Koellner founded the company because she recognized a need in North Texas that her experience could help fill: A woman owned company that could help walk clients through all the necessary steps to create a commercial (TV or radio), video, or graphics production.
In 2008, So To Speak received its WBE certification from NCTRCA and also did its first project with DFW Airport. In 2013, So To Speak received two more WBE certifications, one from WBENC and the other from Supplier Clearinghouse. Additional certifications may be considered upon request.
